This Charvel has serial number 3569 and was MINT when I acquired her. She had to have been sitting in the case for all her life and I suspect was played no more than a few hours. Not a blemish until I played her. Now she has one very small nick on the bottom where I chipped the paint from trying to quickly plug in the guitar cord. Oh well, I love to play them more than looking at them so a few small dings comes with the territory. Yes I do play these guitars!

The graphic is painted only on the face of the body (the sides and back are finished in a metallic candy red color) and has larger Stars and Stripes than Charvel #4504, which also has an American Flag graphic. Comparing the two you can notice the subtleties in the graphic and also how having the back and sides of the body painted red versus white contributes to the overall graphic. I prefer the look of the Flag graphic against the red base paint; it looks better to my eye although both guitars look great.

Like Budweiser #3833, this Charvel uses mostly chrome hardware (Kahler, volume knob and strap buttons). Unlike 3833, which also has a chrome input jack, this guitar has the common black colored input jack. Killer condition and having the headstock painted white is a nice touch.

Neck pocket markings include the work order (invoice) number 1929, initials "EV", G or 6 (?) and "21/4" which I assume refers to the butt width 2 ¼ inches.

The neck markings include the same work order (invoice) number 1929, "ODPH" (I see this on all Jackson style (pointy) necks that have the black plastic capped headstock painted), "white" (assume to tell what color to paint the headstock) and the builders initials that I can not make out.

This guitar was order by Daddy's Music in Salem, NH on 3-7-84. The work specifies an American Flag graphic, painted "white" headstock face and the use of chrome hardware
